Nokia Thinks Indian Don't Deserve the Best.

Nokia India Website

Underprivileging the Indian Continent? Is Nokia Seeing India As Just A
Dumping Ground?

Loosing My Temper

Ms.Sweta ,

I Am Complaining Here About the Malpractices Deployed By The Nokia Service Stations. And There Cannot Be Any Liquid In The Handset and the Water Shown Was Sprinkled and As Fresh as Rain Water Shower. And There Were No sincere efforts at all at your said nokia service station. Please Don't Protect the Doings of your service Station as they are Purely at Fault and Their Magic Tricks of Replacing the Chip and Their Own Generated Invoices For Charging A Customer About Replacing an Integrated Circuit and Failing to Give The Exact Specification On the Part Replaced , Tells the True Face Of Nokia Service Stations.

I Know and I have Read Your Fineprints in Much DETAILS , so please don;t go on repeating it every now and then in every other mail. The point i am putting to question is the atrocities of your service stations and the deliberate damage they did to my instruments in trying to make a QUICK BUCK.

These Service Stations are no more than , likes of crooks you find at the dark alleys of Chor Bazaar. CHEATED is What i Feel , after putting faith in your product and again in your service station.

It seems , Looking at the Last few Mail Exchanges between me and Nokia , i feel , that the Parent Company that is Nokia , even carries an indolent attitude and turns a blind eye to the atrocities of these service stations.

Instead ,of yammering about the liquid clause in your fineprint , please cross check your service stations about their misdoings.

Regards And Extremely Disappointed
Hitesh N.Panchal

Another Fellow Gives the Same Sermon From Nokia

Dear Mr. Panchal,

Thank you for e-mailing Nokia Care.

This e-mail is in reference to the service provision of Nokia E62. You may also note that our Care Centre is authorized by Nokia and irregularities as mentioned in your email communication are not practiced.

Further, you may kindly note that the phone would be repaired under warranty provided no physical or liquid damage is found within the 12 months from date of purchase. In the event the phone is assessed as such, the warranty is void.

In that instance, the customer is to pay for the service charge on the phone plus other repair charges to be incurred should the customer choose to have the phone repaired. In some cases of liquid ingression, phones may be repaired and a quotation will be provided, but in other cases, it will not be possible and customers will be advised accordingly.

Furthermore, once a phone has been assessed as liquid ingressed and repaired at our Nokia Care Center, we are unable to guarantee the phone will not fault again in the future as it has been assessed as beyond repair due to liquid ingression. Nokia stands by our service centre report and our limited warranty clause (which can be found on your user manual): clause 9 (A), which explains that liquid ingression is not covered by the warranty. We request you to contact the Nokia Care Centre for further clarifications on the assessment made on your handset.

We hope this clarifies and we regret for the inconvenience caused.

For further enquiries, please feel free to contact our Technical Support Executives at 30303838 between the hours of 9:00am and 9:00pm, seven days a week. For online support, visit "Have a question? I Replied To Nokia

Dear Namrata,

I Think Either My Mail Was Overlooked Or The Content was mistaken. I Would Re-Quote My Contents. Please Do Read Carefully. Here I Have pointed out a very Unethical Malpractices Done By Your Service Stations.

I Would Like To Put Some Points here my dear friend.
1. The Set was Bought just a month back .in a scorching Summer Heat.
2. The Handset Gets Heated So to an extent ,that any Water Logging , if any would have been Evaporated.
3. The Handset AS SHOWN by the Service Center Executive , had Fresh Water , I Would Say Smartly Sprinkled on it.
4. The Service Center Executive ALREADY Charged Rs.900/- For Replacement of Some Chip , which I Presume Was A BAD SALE and dicy one too.
5. The Replacement of Chip By Service Center Was too fast to be True.
6. The Service Center Personnel , Failed to Give The Exact Specification of The Integrated Circuit Replaced.
7. Nor He Was Able To Provide a Satisfactory Part Number Of the Same.
8. The User Of Handset in Question is a very Cautious User and would Never Mishandle the equipment.

Namrata, I Would Again Point Out Something here.

1. It is high time , that these small service station stop their malpractices ,as out of 10 mobile atleast 6 are charged for water logging and the customer is charged for something that never was a fault of the customer.

2. The Dicy and malpractices of your service stations should be Cross Checked By the Parent Company.

Again Namrata,

I think we both would be in Total Agreement ,that Nokia is a Best Branded Phone, without any manufacturing Defects ( My Personal Journey Includes Handsets Ranging from 1610 to E61i now , which i have never faced a problem) , though i understand , that out of 1000 , there is a likely hood of failure of 1 set.

I would humbly put forth One Question Namrata," With These Kind of Service Providers" How Far will Nokia go in staying in Ethical Business practices?
I have Read All the Fine Prints on your site and it seems your franchisee Service Centers are loosing no opportunity to cash in and use it as a mean to harass customers.

I Don't Know , what Stand Nokia will take or has to take or would want to take after reading my mails, every other person knows about the atrocities of the Nokia Care Service Stations and these incidents will do nothing , but Blemish and Tarnish the Image Of a Reliable Product in the Market.

Regards and thanking you in anticipation
Hitesh N. Panchal
